Doing jack and the Beanstalk with Reception and want to try something different. Had a search on the usual websites but just wondered if anyone got experience of something brill. Conker Posted April 24, 2013 Share Posted April 24, 2013 when I did jack and the beanstalk I made some 'giants buttons' out of slices of wood, drilled 4 holes in them then threaded some very thick wool i plaited through the holes with a bit trailing off. i left them where we went for a walk through the wood along with a little hessian sack with some beans in it further along the path.. we thought the giant may have 'lost' his button and that jack may have dropped his beans. this led to lots of discussion and we took the beans back and grew them etc etc. if i think of anything else i'll let you know!
