Stargrower
Do you use a contract for parents? We have 'terms and conditions' in our parents' handbook, then on their child's information form there is a section where they sign to say they have read and agree to the terms and conditions. I have had a problem with a couple of families not paying fees and I think it would be better if I could refer them to their contract. Also when we have fees paid by a college for student parents, they ask to see a contract and we don't have one! Does anyone have a copy of a contract they could share? Thanks in advance! Inge
We had them.. a bit about what we expect from them and also about what they could expect from us... ours was based on things like opening times, behaviour of parent and staff, confidentiality, late collection and a bit about fees, but we had a separate fee contract when anyone started paying for additional hours, it included things like how much, paid by when, late payment charge, any thing in fee policy that needed pointing out, like in our case 2 weeks non payment they had a weeks warning to pay in full or they would not be allowed to leave the child...(and we did stick to this, ) . and parents signed before taking any paid hours... we had a copy and they did...think they are quite individual to a setting and their policies as all are different.
