Lucie
I'm wondering what people who work in/manage day nurseries would think if a teacher offered their assistance, and I do mean just voluntary and helping out, during school holidays (NVQ level 3, Early years degree and early years PGCE + SENCo in school role). Would that reaction be the same if said teacher was a parent at your setting? Maybe I won't even consider it when the holidays come around and I just want to spend every moment with my daughter, but just thinking....
Susan
From a teacher's perspective, I think you'll need every moment to relax and recuperate!
Alabaloo
Would be great!! Another lovely practitioner to add to the rich tapestry of staff in the setting and voluntary too would be welcome any day. Of course you would undergo all the necessary processes. Yes most welcome!
Stargrower
I'd welcome it with open arms. Parents working at their child's setting needs to be managed carefully but I think its entirely dependent on the child and the parent.
