klc106
Hi all, Our children have asked us to have a zoo at pre-school for the role play area. Any ideas? We are a total packaway setting so needs to be easy to put up and away each day. Any ideas are really welcome! :1b
Panders
Do you have plenty of stuffed animal toys? I would probably have them in cardboard boxes turned onto their sides so that you can see animals inside And just different zoo areas, one with amphibious plastic animals in your water tray, ice world with penguins in or polar bears, any meerkats about they seem pretty popular, make posters to come to the zoo, have a coach service to take children to zoo, zoo keeper hats etc. an endangered species area and discuss why they are endangered, adopt an animal from a zoo or World wide Fund, we. Adopted a polar bear, you get a newsletter posters etc., the children might be able to discuss and decide which animals they would like to help. Make food for feeding time and sell it to the visitors when they go round the zoo, clocks to say what time feeding takes place, some might to help make a map of the zoo. Oh wish we were doing this now.
