Mouseketeer
Make them into sound boxes, decorate, put things in them that make diff sounds, (bells, lentils, stones....) have a pair of each sound so children have to find matching sounds.....great phase one phonics activity, we use those plastic egg shells that come out of those machines, but you do always get the explorer who thinks they,ll pull them open to see what's inside and you end with rice everywhere .....but then you get a bit of CoEL going on !
