klc106
Hi All We are planning a christmas outing for our pre-school children to the sea-life centre. Do we have to hire a coach from a company? or are we able to hire a minibus and my dad drive it (he has a coach driving licence)? I'm not sure how it works with insurance. Parents are happy with this option but I don't know if I am legally allowed? What do you do when you go on trips? Any advice would be great! mrsbat
We use a firm and their drivers for our annual zoo trip (this year there were over 120 of us!!) I would say as long as the driver and the bus is insured to carry/drive children you should be fine? Might be worth calling your own insurance company to see what they say? they may say insurance is only valid if you are using a registered company?
