First Aid Training Provision

Fortunately I am updating my First Aid before the revised EYFS goes live, but the topic of how practitioners find out who are 'Local Authority Approved' Training Providers has been raised. Has your Local Authority told you how to find out from whom you can receive training? If LAs only give a very limited list, and we're paying for our own training, then surely that would be considered anti-competitive. But if they are still selling their own courses (through Adult Learning Alliance in our area) they may not want to promote other providers.

 

So, how will you find out from whom you can accept training and know that you're paying a fair price?
