My husband and I are now officially contracted FOSTER CARERS :D

The panel meeting was great, only asked us three questions

Q1. How will I deal with stress. A. I told them about the support I get from all you wonderful people on the Foundation Stage forum :D

Q2. How will we adapt to lifestyle change. ( not going out so much) A. We already have stopped going out so much.

Q3. ( aimed at hubby) How will he deal with his feelings, react to parents, when parents visit the home who he knows has abused the children.

A. He's not going to be their friends but will be professional and courteous.

Now the real waiting starts............

We are registered ( for want of a better word) to have 2 X 2 children from different families at any one time or a large sibling group. Age range 2 - 16 yrs.

Very excited now. :o

Thank you all for your good luck wishes.

My husband and I went to Panel in December- to be respite carers and we meet the little boy who we will look after on Monday.
