Minibeasts And Olympics

Hello are topic after half term is Minibeasts but with a Olympic twist so things like what is the strongest Minibeasts or the fastest, but how can this be a activity or focus? I'm sure the fine members of the eyfs forum have lots of great ideas that they would be willing to share on this thanks!

My daughter is having Zoo Lab into school and they are doing an Olympic Minibeast thing - might be worth considering?

A zoo lab employee brings bugs into your school - talks about them and gives the children to hold/touch. I cant recall how much it is, and can't see a cost on their web site, but they were good when I had them in and my daughter is, as i said previously, having them in school in relationship to your topic.

Have snail races, or maggots, or worms or all of them so you can time the fastest. :1b
