I have just started my level 4 in child care and need to do an essay on managing an integrated setting and discuss the key features and policies.

 

If any body has any advice or websites books that they could suggest would be greatfully appreciated.

Is that about working with other agencies? Think about a Children's Centre and all those different agencies working together and separately. How many of them might you in your role have dealings? How does working together help children and families? To whom might you refer families. How does a CAF work and whom might one help? Different agencies may all have different ways of working that may be different from our own and their priorities may be different.

 

I'm at same level as you so don't take me as guru - just ideas.

When i completed my Level 4 on one of my assignments i look at management/leadership styles and how these affect a childcare setting! Maybe you could touch on this??
