Pay Scale

Hi

 

I have 3 positions to advertise for September start (all additional no one leaving), can anyone tell me if there is an average pay scale for early years practitioners anywhere. I have looked on essex early years job site and no one advertises the salaries! We are based in Essex.

if salaries were advertised noone would apply !! i did find payscales the other week for essex , can't remember where tho - will have a look againa dnlet you know

good luck , we have just advertised but of the candidates that we have seen so far ........with reagrd to salaries - depends on what /who you are looking for , -temp positions - level 2/3 or above, responsibilites of job etc and what sector you are - private/charity

kris it is on the early years site for essesx look under advertise a job and it shows pay scales and minimum wage etc

Do your other staff work to a payscale? Becuase if it is different you could spark a riot when your new staff starts!

suer- i think Kris meant pay scale as in idea of who gets what not necessarily as moving pay scales like teachers, I could be wrong tho !

It's just to check that I am about where I should be with rates that's all. I certainly dont want up roar from all the staff!!

Thanks for the the advice about Essex Early Years website, have found the info and from that I seem to be about right if not a bit over!
