Horrible Histories Party Planning

Recommended Posts

Posted

My boys have decided on their party theme this year - Horrible Histories. Am a bit stuck for activities. We'll be doing a quiz (different ones for the two age groups - 7 and 9). Will have a 'Gong Farmer' race - filling buckets with disgusting 'poo' via either an obstacle course or slip and slide depending on the weather. A clue based treasure hunt. Then I was trying to think of things to do with turnips - turnip bobbing? Any of you wonderfully creative people have any ideas? Am hoping to use our garden and not spend more than £100 on entertainment/craft/prizes.

Don't know if this reply is too late, but just had to share. Hawkins Bazaar do 'Bush Tucker' nibbles. They are edible bugs, I think they are chocolate coated. Might be worth a look? x
