Biddy Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Hi all i have a casual worker helping us out till at least the end of the summer term maybe longer, just 1 day a week at the moment, she doesn't want to become a member of staff. Does she need any type of contract as a casual worker? If so does anyone have a templete they can share. Biddy Quote
louby loo Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 At one lace I worked I had an 'hours' contract. This said the contract would run for 100 hours - after that it would be renewed (or not) for another 100 hours and so on. I did bank cover so actual days/hours not stated on contact. It was in the nursery department of a big organisations, so maybe that's how other sectors cover casual workers? Quote
Lyanne Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 We've got a member of staff employed on a zero hours contract - same contract as the rest of us, but it says she will work as required. She also has a letter for this term setting out her hours for this term, plus as required. Why doesn't she want to be a staff member? Quote
