Lucy P Posted July 6, 2005 Share Posted July 6, 2005 We are soon to have a new parent rep which i am feeling quite dubious about Previous reps have either been too involved or not involved enough. I think it would be a good idea to compile terms and conditions for the position, including what the role would entail, but i don't have a clue about how to get started. Guest Posted July 6, 2005 Share Posted July 6, 2005 Good question Lucy, My brain is a bit dead ( and I'm also in avoidence mode for end of term reports). What did your last Parent reps do? I think it is sensible to have an idea of role and conditions such as confidentiality. I also think that it is something that the whole committee ( if you are in a committee run group) should discuss and agree upon, with the staff, and not just be left to one person to write up.
