HI

i AM GOING TO START A OPTIONAL UNIT ON SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN.

dOES ANY ONE KNOW OF A BOOK THAT SUITABLE TO USE. tHE UNIT P17 AND P18.

I'm sorry nerak28 but I didn't do these units. Presumably you are working with special needs children, which is why you have chosen these units. You don't need to have any special books, just write about your normal day to day practise and use the expertise in your setting if you are stuck. Good luck. :D

Hi I work with children with special needs including children with speech and language difficulties and children with autism and behavioural difficulties. I can't recommned a book that would cover all of those specific things, but I could try to answer any questions if you felt you wanted to ask me. good luck regards Debbie

Small Steps Forward is brilliant (can't remember the author).

 

It can be used to promote development with all children. I use it all the time.
