For anyone in Kent either with your own childen at school or who runs a setting/school visit:

This sit is run by KCC and informs parents who register with the site of their child's school being closed by text.

 

For those who run a setting/school, you need to register your setting\log in using the tiny blue mortar board in the top right hand corner of the screen.

 

There are rules and regs so please do make sure you read them - especially the bit about logging back in for the first time as your setting may be seen as 'closed' if you don't activate the link.

 

Lets hope the snow doesn't make our lives too awkward this time though,
