Verona Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 I have just received a free copy of Teach Nursery and they are offering 3 issues for £5.00 and then £9.58 every three issues thereafter. Has anyone taken up this publication and if so what do you think of it? Thanks Sue J Quote
SueJ Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Hi Sue J I also received an unsolicited free copy of this magazine today - have had a quick look through and there are some good articles in it but haven't checked out the subscription deal yet. Quote
Guest Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I've been subscribing since I saw the first issue and I find it really useful and informative - even though I'm a school setting and its focus seems to be more on the private sector. I've even been lending it to my Nursery Nurses so they can stay up to date with current thinking and good practice. I particularly like the section in each issue which visits an outstanding Nursery and talks about how they do it. Lots of good thinking points for my own practice coming from each issue. Quote
Guest Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 I have not seen this, how does it compare to NW or EYE really interested as i like to buy odd copies for my staff x Quote
Guest Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 I prefer it to either - I do occasionally pick up NW or EYE but have never felt the urge to subscribe to either of them. I find it easier to read than either or them and just as informative. Is definitely worth reading and maybe trying the next issue to get a feel whether its good for you. Quote
Verona Posted January 13, 2012 Author Posted January 13, 2012 Thanks for your replies. I thought the free copy was interesting. I have to decided to have the trial offer. Thanks again Sue J Quote
