nickylear Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Hi There I've been trying to remember a Christmas song that I sang as a child...(I'm in my 30's now if that helps) I just can't remember it all.....nor can any of my friend. I hope someone out there can help? It goes something like this: Who is coming on Christmas eve with a red red....... and a .......... so bright who is coming on Christmas eve......I know, don't you? Thank you in advance, Nicky XXX
Fredbear Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Is it Who is coming on Christmas night with a red red coat and a beard so white. Who has the sparkle of the starry night. I know don't you. Who has a sack all filled with toys with wonderful gifts for girls and boys. Who has a sleigh that makes no noise. I know don't you. Father Christmas
Hello Kitty Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Awwww the children sang this at their Christmas play in my very first Nursery School placement back in the 80s happy memories
nickylear Posted November 20, 2011 Author Posted November 20, 2011 oh my goodness I've got goose bumps and I nearly cried...te he. Thank you very much bridger, that's the song that I was after. I'll be singing this one at school ready for our trip to the forest to see Father Christmas next week. Thank you, Nicky XXXX (with a very big grin)
Guest Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 additional verse Who brings a dolly and a motor car? Peppermints, toffees and a chocolate bar? Who hangs his hat upon a Christmas star? I know.....don't you???
Guest Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Or another slightly different version: Who is coming on Christmas night with a red red coat and a beard so white. Eyes that sparkle like a starry night. I know don't you. Who has a sack all filled with toys with wonderful gifts for girls and boys. Who has a sleigh that makes no noise. I know don't you. Hadn't heard the next verse, but willadd it to my repertoire..
