I'm planning a KUW activity on building houses, blowing them down with different apparatus etc but the focus of the observation is differentiation which i'm finding quite difficult to plan specifically for. If you work that out in more detail for the target groups the activity will be easier to define - it's better to start from that way round than an activity and then try to fit he children into it.
