Guest
hi, i have a member of staff who is training for level 3 does anyone know if the staff member can be counted in the 50% qualified staff? she has just started and has only got previous qualifications in TA thanks
HappyMaz
Unless her existing qualification is a level 3 then I would personally say no. Certainly the CWDC audit tool would only say she can be said to be qualified once the completion date for her qualification has been entered. Deb
I agree with Maz. It might be worth consulting the CWDC website to see if the TA's existing qualification would be considered full and relevant at say level 2.
kristina
I have a member of staff with level 2 TA and was told by the cwdc that she couldn't be counted as a qualified member of staff, even though she had to specialise in an age group and she chose 3-5 they still wouldn't allow it.
