Guest
Hi all! I'm looking for new CDs that I can buy to use in Nursery next year for Music and singing. We did lots of Nursery Rhymes and counting songs this year but I think songs were missing. Does anyone have any CDs that they can recommend? Thanks in advance! Inge
really loved the'keeping the beat' ones.. nursery rhymes in rap form.. children loved them.. so did the staff.. very catchy.. ours also loved the Ross Bayley Raps.. ( but did have to explain a few to parents who asked why we were 'shaking our bums' )
Guest
Scholastic do a series called 'Fun Songs for the Early Years'; book and CD. It has links to the ELGs, music, lyrics and actions. I have 'Songs for Circle Time', 'Action Songs', 'Counting Songs' and 'Songs on Favourite Themes' - but there are lots more in the series incl 'Multicultural Songs' and 'Songs for Role Play'. Each book/CD has 15 songs. They are very good, though a bit expensive (I paid £20 each about 5 years ago).
