caro Posted July 15, 2011 Share Posted July 15, 2011 Does anyone have any good exercises or intray type things that they are willing to pm me, to include in the selection process for a deputy. I'm just thinking that when we recruited an administrator we gave them a short (10 mins) financial problem just to check that they could read accounts and wondered if there was anything similar for deputies/managers. eyfs1966 Posted July 15, 2011 Share Posted July 15, 2011 dont have anything to give you directly, but as an "intray " exercise for a deputy I would suggest that you have several short problems, covering 1. parent complaint 2, safeguarding issue 3. planning I think you could easily write up "memos" for deputy interviewee to consider, then give the interviewee say 10-15 mins to jot down notes in reply and then discuss Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
