Guest
just wondering if a level 3 TA qualification would be classed as qualified to work in early years? thanks
HappyMaz
You can check on the CWDC website here if the qualification meets the criteria. You need to know the qualitification title and the name of the awarding body.
kristina
It does depend on the title of the qualification, have to say I have a member of staff with a level 2 TA and it doesn't count and she specialised in age 3-5!! Kris

Guest
Yes we too have a member of staff with a TA qualification and it doesn't count as being "full and relevant". I was told by CWDC that she could do some parts of the new diploma to bring her qualification up to level 3 equivalence rather than doing the whole thing, but thy then promptly told me they didn't know which sections she would need to do. I've chased it many times and never got a straight answer so if you find out would you mind posting so I could follow it up again please? It's not urgent for us as all the rest of the staff have level 3s too but it would be helpful to know what she needs to do, especially as she is quite happy to do it.
