What do the big theorists say on schematic behaviour?

....need some background research to back up why I'm observing schematic behaviour.

Also how this links to 'enjoy and achieve outcomes' all ive got is they are going to enjoy the activities because they are personalised to what I have observed them doing but also they are going to achieve because I'm going to cover all aspects of the EYFS, does this sound about right?

Arrrrggghhh stupid assignments :o
