Guest
We had an odd letter in this morning's post. Apparently we have booked an advert at a cost of £195 (who are they kidding) in a publication called fire prevention fiscal wallplanner. The letter included a proof of the 'advert' which used some very old details. It says cancellation must be in writing within 7 days otherwise the proof will be deemed correct and publication will proceed in accordance with the proof. The company is Townsend Associates based in Wirral Anyone else had anything similar? We haven't booked any ads, have never heard of this company and if I type the address into google it is a completely different company. HappyMaz
It is almost definitely a scam letter. I'd contact your local trading standards office for advice!
