SmileyPR Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 (edited) Under what developmental matter statement would you assess how a child follows instructions? This child is a native English speaker. An activity (e.g. Snakes and Ladders or using the bee-bot) can have been modeled or even executed by other classmates in front of him and, when it would be his turn, he would be completely lost. Yet, he is able to remember a story and sequence events. Edited February 3, 2011 by SmileyPR
finleysmaid Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 respond to simple instructions?...although i always think this is verbal not cerebral....(DM 30-50 mnths L+L language for communication)
Susan Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Do you not need a specialist speech and language assessment re language processing? Could also be a receptive language problem.
