Inge Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 ours was 6 WORKING weeks.... but this has been discussed somewhere before and think I remember reading even though it is in contract it is not really enforceable.. if they decide to leave without any notice they can... ours always did though and gave us time to sort out a replacement.. as manager mine was 3 months! not that they held me to it.. SueJ Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 I ask for 4 weeks notice but (and I haven't looked it up to check with acas) I think that there is some dependency on how you pay your wages e.g., if staff are weekly paid in theory they only have to give a weeks notice. Quote
