Guest Posted June 19, 2010 Share Posted June 19, 2010 Hi all - just received my final classification and i'm over the moon :+) Thought i'd share it with you all, i received a 2;1 overall but was 2 % from a 1st - but i'm happy! Does anyone know what this will be classed as - a second class honours or a upper second class honours degree ? Oh i must mention my dissertation - i received a 1st in this and if anyone would like to see it just ask - as i did have lots of support and advice from you guys :+) Dissertation hypothesis - 'why are there so few men in primary education' Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Although I will admit I didnt even really understand what a 2:1 or first or whatever meant until explained to me by a fellow student!! A 2:1 is an 'upper second class honours degree' I was familiar with 1st 2.1 2.2 etc but not quite so sure on the actual description.
