E115 Tma08

Hi,

I'm really hoping someone out there can help me. I'm just completing TMA08 & 09. I have finished all my EYCLO's, evidence descriptions, reference list etc so I just have to complete 08.

I'm really confused about section 2. Do i refer to 1 document or more? Do I have to choose external, internal formal and internal day to day or just 1? and how do i get all of this information in 550 words. I know I have the use of appendixes but if I have to compare 2 documents from all 3 areas that is an awful lot of analysing. Pleeeeeeeeease help me somebody before my head explodes!!! :oxD

At least this will all be over in 2 months, then I can think about starting E215 :( is that one as intense does anybody know??

Thanks in advance

A very confused Rapunzel

I'll happily tell you what I've done however please don't assume i'm on the right lines I could well have it wrong :o Eyclo 8 i have extracts of previos assignemnts, reflective account of setting up learning journies, policy saying where information is stored

EYCLO 6 observations, timetable, behaviour managemnet policies

This is all I can remember from the top of my head, its at work being signed

Hope this helps

Hi I have sent you a Pm with some ideas I drew up for section 2 TMA 08 when i did this last year. It took me until the last tma before i got the hang of E115 but finding E215 a nightmare!! still only got ECA to do now. If I can help in anyway with the rest of E115 or E215 then just yell, not that i have done brilliantly on the course but it really is a hard one to get into, so i may be able to help you in retrospect lol

hi all on E115 have spent all morning doing section 1 really stuck on section 2. I have read it that you need at least one piece of evidence for each external, internal official and unofficial. might be wrong though what do you think.

glad when its all finished.

Not sure if it right, but i put down - External Doc - EYFS and London Safeguarding Board documents

Internal Official Doc - Child Protection and Equal Opps Policies

Intenal Unoffical Doc - Assignment i have just done for the U212 course doing at the same time and

observations made.

Like I said. no idea if this is along the right lines and did struggle to get in into the 550 words. Not long to we finish now. ... can't wait x

Hi,

My section 2 is about 650 words. i thought the section bits were a guide as long as your overall is within the limit. Is this ok???? I hope so because mine is downstairs in an envelope waiting to be posted :o

I agree that the section word counts are a guide and think the idea is that within the overall word count you achieve a 'balance'. Throughout my OU studies my 'sections' were always a little under or over but not by huge amounts - hope that helps.

Is E115 as awful as it looks on their website? I looked at the feedback given by previous students and it's really put me off but I do want to continue to get my FDEY. I've already completed E123/E124.

The main problem is the amount of paperwork involved, at times I have hated it with a passion but I have found that it does make me question my work and make changes for the better.

And remember it's only 9 months long, it will be worth it in the long run

Also just an after thought this year was the last presentation of E115 I think the new one is E105 so it may be completley different
