I guess it depends on the context in which the phrase is used :o

Are you by any chance doing the FD with the OU and referring to the 'critical incident' aspect of a TMA for course E230???

 

I can't delete my earlier message but as I have now read your other post I see you are not studying with the OU so ignore my question about E230!!!!!

I would imagine that your critical learning incident is an event that causes you to reflect on your practice, identify what happened and why, how you responded and whether a different approach might have brought about a different result.

 

But don't take my word for it - ask your tutor for clarification!
