Guest Posted March 13, 2010 Share Posted March 13, 2010 what curent legislation and government initiatives apply when supporting a reception aged boy who has witnessed domestic violence? how will they support the family and setting? have mentioned children act 1989/2004, safeguarding,, UN convention, eyfs but cant seem to say how they support family and setting n the right context in desperate need of help. SueJ Posted March 14, 2010 Share Posted March 14, 2010 I'm not sure that you do use a CAF for any kind of abuse - in my training we were told not to as you follows your local board's procedures. You can check this out by reading the managers and practioners guides (p.20) here. CAF Guides Have you referred to what to do if you're worried a child is being abused?
