Guest
Hi everyone, This year the SOuthampton in Bloom competition is asking for clever ideas to display flowers in recycled containers. I was wondering if you lovely people have any bright ideas we could steal!! We have a very small budget so it needs to be very inexpensive!! Thanks to anyone for any help XX
Guest
Tyres - line them with weed resistant stuff, then plant. If you go to a tyre place they should have some to give away, then they don't have to pay to get rid of them. Can't think of anything else at the mo! Rea
Old wellies or boots. Baths, sinks, toy boxes, milk containers, gosh the lsit is endless, it just depends on how good you want it to look afterwards!
Guest
Thanks for the replies. We want to have a container for each letter of the alphabet - so need something that is not too small as it wont have enough of an impact, but nothing too big as it will take it too much room!! SueFinanceManager
Has the school kitchen got any old pots and pans....teapots. They probably have stuff delivered in catering sized containers so maybe something they can pass your way. Ask the parents if they have an old wheelbarrow kicking around...that would do w...good luck with z

OK - is someone clever enough to create a list that we can all add to (sorry -i'm not ) - rather than having to track back through individual posts. Then we may be able to help Punto and give each other ideas for other occassions. Just a thought
