Thank you for your good wishes!

The big five zero! Half a century!

And I still feel much younger.

Anyway, I took the girls (all three: 17, 14, 10) to London for the day. We had a super time at the British Museum (their choice). And gosh, the last time I went there must have been in the 1960's! I'd recommend it. And it was remarkably uncrowded - except for the Egyptian mummies area.

Then we did Oxford Street in a big way! Just window shopping, really. The Top Shop flagship store (if my 14yr-old was affluent we'd still be there). Then all the other

But my 10-yr-old wanted to hit the Disney Store. Spent all of £2 on a motivator for my ASD that I work with (a really nasty Belle - Beauty and the Beast - doll). And begged 15 carrier bags with Cinderella/Tinkerbell on. She does so love carrier bags!

The rest of the afternoon saw the girls in the big HMV shop - wearing headphones! I browsed the "folk" section.

We spent the evening in London - girls and "man-in-my life".

A nice time was had by all. It's not often that an outing suits all four of us, but this one did.

I recommend 50! Much nicer than 30 or 40. But don't take my word for it - try it!

Diane.
