I have been racking my brains to word a Statment of Confidentiality for my accident books etc Does anyone have any idea of what i can put!??! We dont have separate ones, just a Confidentiality policy that is adhered to for all and everything concerned with our setting, or am I misunderstanding what you are asking? Guest Posted January 21, 2010 Share Posted January 21, 2010 which aspects of confidentiality were you thinking of - my accident and incident books include these statements at the front... q In the case of an injury being caused by another child, that child’s name should not be included in the report but referred to as ‘another child’. An ‘Incident’ report can be made for the offending child, if appropriate. * INCIDENTS SHOULD ONLY BE REPORTED TO PARENT OR MAIN CARER. IN CASE OF ANOTHER PERSON COLLECTING THE CHILD, THE INFORMATION SHOULD NOT BE SHARED, BUT INSTEAD A PHONE CALL SHOULD BE MADE TO THE PARENT. don't know if thats any help.
