Guest
For my DPP students I recommend Penny Tassoni’s Practical EYFS Handbook. This has plenty of ideas for activiites and also helpful advice on planning formats.
sunnyday
Hi titchy Have you had a look on the disc that comes with the EYFS documents? Hope that doesn't sound patronising - that's certainly not my intention - I have a tendency to 'forget' about the disc....... Sunnyday

This has plenty of ideas for activiites and also helpful advice on planning formats. I've used this book for my DPP and we also have it at work, for staff who qualified pre-EYFS, they've found it helped them come to grips better with the EYFS. Guest
There's a spiral bound book, think it was from Lewisham Council. It has good ideas for observations and shows how to use observations on a summary sheet... It's in my setting so will hunt it out this week.
