Anyone Have A Source That Explains The Links Of Planning And Assesment

I am looking for a source that explains the link between planning and assements for my univeristy work and was wondering if anyone could help me, I have looked on sites like Teaching.net, QDCA and TES but to no avail.

Have you looked on the EYFS website? ...they have the planning and

assessment cycle on there x

'Planning for the Early Years Foundation Stage' by Sandra Smidt has a whole chapter on building a planning system which gives good explanations of the process.

Once again, thanks everyone for your help! I never expected people to be so forthcoming so it's a pleasant surprise I've just checked and my uni library has some copies of Sandra Smidt's 'planning for the early years...' so I shall take that out tomorrow. Hope everyone has a good evening
