Jackie H
The Government has committed to extending the free entitlement to 15 hours a week for 38 weeks a year by 2010. Parents who wish to do so will also be able to take up the free entitlement more flexibly across a minimum of three days. They will also be able to purchase the additional integrated provision they need to enable them to balance work and family responsibilities. If a parent is working say Thursday and Friday every week and their child attends nursery those two days 8 till 6 , How many hours funding could they have? can they not have the 15 hours over 2 days? because the min requirement is over 3 days. Can a parent that only works one day claim 8 hours if you have to use a minimum 3 days!! Confused Jackie
Guest
It depends which county your funding comes under. In mine you can't claim for more than 6 hours a day. ppp

HappyMaz
I've made your duplicate thread invisible Jackie so that all your responses will be together! I think the best thing to do if you're concerned about how the funding will be operated is to contact your early years team who will be able to explain any special criteria they are imposing.
