Guest
I have two interviews this week at my current work place. My current job is working part time as a nursery practioner. I am going for a full time post and a team leader post. I have been doing my job for 3 years and love it, i have never been good at interviews and its really worrying me. I know my job and love it but really worried about being put on the spot and not being able to answer a question. Any ideas one what i am likely to be asked. Cait
Well I'd ask about your knowledge of the EYFS and the Principles into Practice knowledge. How you would deal with specific situations, ie complaints perhaps. I'd want to know how you 'see' the team leader post developing and your skills in dealing with a team. What training you have had in the last 12 months and what you perceive your training needs will be over the next 12 months. And the old chestnut - where do you see yourself in 5 years time! chasrosam
I agree with Cait - good questions and the same as we ask, the only other to add is ' tell me about something that you are proud of achieving '
Guest
I think we would be asking questions that would cover certain topics including: previous experience (in the full range of ages attending) an activity you have led successfully and why it was successful how you would lead health and safety inclusion safeguarding behaviour management working with parents/carers Good luck with the interview Gruffalo2
