bubblejack
Thanks for all your good wishes I shall certainly need them because the day I am expecting him is the day that we are starting full day care!!!! Also I can't remember the last time I caught a cold , years ago,but last night unfortunately I have developed a real big one so now I don't really feel like preparing for Mr Ofsted. Anyway I must feeling sorry for myself and wish everyone else good luck especially Andrea who has her first one as supervisor.
Jackie H
Oh no bubblejack you poor thing ! I know just how you feel. I started with a cold xmas day spent 4 days in bed after it turned into broncitus. All 4 nursery staff have been realy ill over xmas. I thimk the inspectors are cariers ! and should be banned, ours had a bad cold pre inspection. Keep warm it will pass.x
bubblejack
I am much better today thanks. At least I have stopped sneezing. I just cannot believe that I have caught a cold.I am normally immune to colds. We decided to only open for 11 weeks this term.I have never had a 3 week break before at Christmas and it has done me no favours at all. I can't wait to get back and return to minimum sleeping, eating and dashing around with no time to spare!!!!!
Andreamay
I know what you mean Bubblejack we only had two weeks but it is driving me mad everybody at home under my feet I cant concentrate on anything and got to put our operational plan together yet!I had a cold at end of term so have every sympathy with you. Feel awful complaining cant stop thinking about those poor families who have lost loved ones I do apologise for complaining about my family

bubblejack
I think that our families don't always realise that we need peace and quiet sometimes.I have been doing paperwork to the tune of Mary Poppins today and answered many questions i.e. No I can't say supercalafragalistic backwards. I can't even be ill in peace.!!!!!.

Guest
Good luck Bubblejack and Andrea. Will be thinking of you on 11th. Ours is end of January - don't know when but believe she will stay for two days (It's our first combined inspection). Try Echinacea (I've got a 30 day supply) to ward off colds. Plus I have had flu jab. So hoping I will be fighting fit. Roll on February half term though!
