redbase Posted August 20, 2009 Share Posted August 20, 2009 Can't believe this...I ,(the only one in my family), have held off getting cable tv for years cos I didn't want my kids watching endless cartoons and my hubby watching football every evening. Well, last week I sucumbed and we got cable and I knew I'd loose the battle with hubby for a while as we have endured/ watched obscure matches from all over the world this week. However, I thought my kids, who are 18 and 15, would have grown out of cartoon network and the disney channel and hence wouldn't sit for hours watching TV!! But no, where are my 2 now..sitting in the lounge watching scooby and tom and jerry and my daughter has even recorded all the land before time on disney. Oh well...all the best laid plans.....! I even watch hows Stuff's made and thoroughly enjoy it. Even my 16yr watched it the other day with me and said that he had learnt something so wonders will never cease.
