Hi,

when I started in my class last year the previous teacher had left several educational videos for me to use, like Numbertime and early years topic videos. The children loved them and learnt a lot from them. Unfortunately, they are quite old now and the video player is on its last legs too! I was wondering whether anyone knew of and could suggest some useful, child friendly dvds they use in class or have heard about. That way I can play them via the interactive whiteboard, rather than asking for a new video player!

Thank.

not sure if these are the sort of things you are looking for, but our children used to enjoy the Early Vision series, and also the festivals ones from A Childs Eye View are very good , may be worth a look for some ideas, until someone else pops in with others

Our children have always loved numbertime but the dvds are so expensive to replace the videos. We started used the iplayer this year and they loved numberjacks that is on cbeebies and I have since found dvds on ebay for a really good price. I think I got 4 dvds for £18.
