sharonash Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 I have been asked to do a risk assessment on the ict equipment that the children use in the setting. Can anyone help, or put me in the right direction please. Thank you Sharon
Cait Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Have you done a forum search for risk assessment? I know there have been lots of threads and posts in the recent past, but don't know if there was one specifically for ICT. Start by listing all the ICT equipment you have and look at what areas might pose a risk in normal and abnormal use. Look also at the history of risk. It's hard to advise when we don't know what equipment you have
salm Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 ict_risk_assessment.docx Hi Sharon I have put a format on for you but I was told by a Health & Safety person who visited that as the children do not spend a long time on the computer that it wasn't necessary to have one???? regards Salm
Cait Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Here it is in the older format of word for those of you who can't open docx files ict_risk_assessment.doc
