Help! Psed Observation Tomorrow

Hi,

 

I'm in desparate need of a good activity for my PSED lesson tomorrow. The theme is working together- half the class are going to work with the parachute but I need something to give the other half in the classroom with the TA while I'm outside- has anyone got any tried & tested ideas- can be small group activity- just so long as the objective is that they work together to complete the activity.

what about building something togehter - give a simple problem (perhaps to build a den )for the children to think and decide together then use the resources together to build the den . dont know if that is any help x

I've done some great working together circle time type activities in the past. Here a couple of the most successful ones.

 

-building the highest tower - taking it in turns to add on a brick - what happens if someone is too heavy handed?

-doing a jigsaw - share out the pieces - put children into smaller groups - can they do their puzzle - what is the problem - how can it be solved?
