blondie
we have been given some funding on the provision that we buy a camera docking station and printer - any idea where we start - we need to do it quickly as funding has to be spent before we return after easter - all stuff has to be used by the children as it for them to see process from taking photos to printing. Guest
why not try one of the Kodak easy share range as you just place the camera on the base and choose the pituresa and press the print button and are very easy to use.The Hp ones are easy to use but you need a memory card in the camera to use them. Hope this helps
Guest
*Kodak ones are good as littledawn has already said- we have a kodak camera which serves us well and children find it easier to use than the little tikes cameras we went on to purchase *Have a scout around for ink cartridge prices of your chosen printer brand as you will fly through them, as you will do with photo paper too *Make sure they are easy for all staff to use and understand so they can access independently- my staff are constantly using the excuse that they don't know how to use the equipment which obviously doesn't help the children when they come to use them and need help Good luck and hope it goes down well with the children

Guest
We recently bought 2 small cameras...... can't remember the make but both were about £50 each. (From Amazon) We got a stand alone printer/ scanner/ photocopier. We also got a digital picture frame which is great if you have an extra memory card, so there is always a card in the cameras and one in the frame. The cards from the cameras go straight into the printer. We print on normal paper and then laminate then if they are for show and need to be a little more hardwearing. Guest
Try the TTS website for their Tuffcam, We have purchased four cameras (they come with docking station) and they are so much easier to use as they have a trigger like a gun so no fiddly buttons on top They don't have to use a viewfinder as the picture is displayed on the back just point and shoot The children love them and we have had no problems with them so far The Token Male in Childcare Tony
Guest MaryEMac
We have a Kodak easyshare camera with docking station. The problem we are having is that the printer will only accept Kodak paper which we have only found at £20 a packet. If we use anything else it sulks and refuses to work. we used to get the paper from argos but they don't stock the cameras with docking stations anymore and they don't stock Kodak paper. The camera is perfect but over the last few weeks the printer has started chewing up all paper so we are now looking at our options. Mary
catma
The tuffcams are fabulous and I've seen them being used very enthusiastically in nurseries. Cx
