Guest
Hi all, Hope everyone is ok. Just wondering if anyone could help me please. I have an observation on tall and short in a week's time. I am going to use unifix tower building, cutting and sticking Jac'ks beanstalk, making tall short snakes, using skipping ropes to make tall and short worms, use planks outdoors, squirting tall and short water lines outdoor. Has anyone done any great activitie on tall and short in numeracy that they can share with me. Am thinking on the creative side too. My observer will be focusing on number and creative development. Thanks in advance. Love flowerxxxxxxx
Cait
A few books come to mind - Tall by Jez Alborough Penguin Small by Mick Inkpen and the Titch books by Pat Hutchins Have you got any of these you could use as a starter? Who can find the tallest blade of grass? A height chart of the children? As for creative, could they draw round the tallest child on big sheet of lining paper, and the smallest child, and 'dress' decorate them to make a display?
