Beau
and the forum wouldn't let me post any more!! I got a message saying I had more emoticons than was allowed! You should count yourself lucky! Originally we only had half the rations we do now. Skip down a bit to get to the talk of emoticons!

Guest
Get well soon vibes from me too. So great to hear that hubby is soon to be out of ICU. The nurses have given sound advice, realisation of being close to fatality put my mind in a type of shock, added to that the effects of morphine and other medications the mind needs a 'positive focus' which you and your hubbys' family can all give him. When I was in hospital I also worried about my hubby coping alone at home, possibly a way that my mind worked to stop me thinking of my own mortality at the time. So, little, subtle comments from you, to let him know you are ok will help him too. You are being so strong, well done you, this is one time I will wish the days away fast so that his homecoming is not too long to wait for. best of best wishes to you all. Guest
I'm so please things are taking a positive move forward for you both. I can understand where you are coming from having spent the week with my 11 year old in hospital. It's lucky I didn't realise some of the things that where happening at the beginning or I would have been in more of a state myself (don't know what I'll be like next time though). It's amazing how quickly she has recovered with a 'non-uniform day' on offer at school . I want to spoil her so she's getting spag bog for tea but its my 15 year old I need to spoil whose do all those little behind the scene things like washing, ironning. It sounds like your family have supported you and you are all contributing to his recovery so keep up the good work

HappyMaz
Skip down a bit to get to the talk of emoticons! 20 smileys eh? That was generous Steve! When did the allowance get cut down then? I was wondering if anyone had a red nose smiley.... Good to hear of Martin's continued improvement, mummyspud. Here's hoping for 20% very soon!
