Guest Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Hello has any one had any Solihull training? What did it consist of and do you use it in your setting? Thanking you in advance
Rea Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Solihull is a place near Birmingham. I think Sue wondered if anyone has had any training from the borough.
Guest Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 The Solihull Approach was talked about in a Behaviour Management course I attended, very informative and relevant. More details on www.Solihull.nhs.uk/solihullapproach Nona
Guest Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 i did a 2 day solihull approach course about 18months ago. i found it useful and very interesting at the time however I didn't keep it up. i know the children's centre we are linked to does the 6 week solihull approach with parents and some of ours who have been on it found it really good
Guest Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 ive dont the solihul approach training. very good it think. we use it in our centre... the manual is very good as in the back is some information we photo copy for parents eg potty training, temper tantrums etc.
Guest Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 thank you for replies it was bought up at a meeting thinking that there maybe training on offer and just wondered what sort of approach it had what it involved
Guest Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 we use it for working with parents. containing, Reciprocity (being in tune with their children) and behaviour management is the triangle that they recommend.
