I was also thinking of giving parents the word play and asking them to make a poem up to put around the display? For example - P is for playdough all over the floor L is for learning how to do more A is for abacus counting one,two and three Y is for years of just being me. There are quite a few ones, but you might like to do your own search if nothing is suitable!
