WChurchill Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 Hi Talk about taking things for granted! Just tried to make an ice-balloon, but balloon would not swell and take much water. Guest Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 Its possible the balloon is too small..... Perhaps its your technique! I cram my balloons over the end of the tap, hold very tight and turn the tap on as full as I dare. The trick is to know when to stop - otherwise you soak everything for 5 metres! Shiny Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 How odd!! I spent about 20 mins this morning filling balloons with water and putting them in the freezer for preschool tomorrow!! Guest Posted January 6, 2009 Share Posted January 6, 2009 Just a thought but I might extend this by getting children to fill small tubs tomorrow and find somewhere in our garden to leave them overnight.
