Stepping Stones, Please Help.....

Hello.

I am trying to create some stepping stone sheets to go on the wall in the nursery, where staff can stick their post it notes alongside relevant ss.

The thing is...I was trying to copy and past the yellow, blue and green ss only...and i realised just how long it was going to take! Does anyone have them already in a document that they could email to me please...for the sake of my sanity and social life. I already have the ELG typed out, but these are too advanced for my group.

Thanks in advance for any help, advice or directions to where they might be available.

Tracy, the ones Susan linked you to don't have the ELGs on either. We were going to replace those documents with a new set with ELGs, but since it's obviously more useful to some people to have them without, I think we'd better provide both sets!

Sorry put a sample on my previous message but it's similar to Joannes.

We number the aspects of learning and our plans show abbreviated 'intentions'

eg.an activity may say PSED 1,3 and then its a case of differentiating to cover the stepping stones individual children are working towards. Crikey does that make any sense at all?? I know what I mean!

help! clicked on my file but it doesnt open, i get a box asking if I want to save it???

Hi Geraldine -

It works fine for me. You should get the option to save or open it. If you save it, it saves it to your hard disk where you can open it any time you want. If you open it, it opens it inside your browser window so you can see the file, but doesn't save it to your hard disk.

 

Does that make sense?

Thanks Steve, yes it makes sense but i only get the option to save or cancel!

I don't want to save it as I already have it saved! just wanted to check my attempt at attaching a file worked!

OK - maybe your browser isn't set up to open files. But yes, it works fine! Again, thanks for sharing Geraldine!

It likes joannes files and everyone elses too, they just open, no option, I just click and there it is -just doesnt like mine obviously

Now that's a strange thing. I've got no problems opening it...

 

Lorna - if you save it can you then open it from your hard drive?

Well I can save, open or cancel, but when I click open another box opens saying windows doesnt know what programme created it and asks if I want windows to look on the web.
